Tickets are £12 advance and are available from us direct, just send us a message with your details. Doors ar 7:30 and we should be on stage at 7:45 playing a half hour set. We will be performing songs from our new album Ashes of the Fallen Throne. Updated Saturday 01 November The new album 'Ashes of the Fallen Throne' is now available to buy direct from our Myspace profile and Website using Paypal. Prices are £5 UK, £6 Europe and £7 World plus £1 postage. Also available are The Belonging T Shirts. Sizes are Medium, Large, X Large and XX Large. Prices are £5 UK, £6 Europe and £7 World plus £2 postage. Updated Saturday 20 Sepember Finally, the album is finished! Just got the master copies yesterday. We've put four songs up. Secrets of Thy Labyrinth is the album opener which goes straight for the throat with some atmosphere peppered in the middle section. Ashes of the Fallen Throne is the album closer and is the longest and most epic song on the album. God knows how many riffs are in this monster. Plenty of sections and different time changes a plenty. Oracle of the Night is the most experimental song on we have done yet. Clean guitars and clean/whispering vocals mixed with speed and aggression. The result is atmosperic and dynamic. Prophetic Visions is pure black metal with an acoustic interlude which flows into a melodic twin lead before finishing with pure aggression. We haven't got any copies pressed yet but as soon as we have we'll let you know. Updated Tuesday 12 August 2008 Recording finished, mixing started. After four months recording we have finally finished the album. We've only spent about 25 days actual recording as most of it was done at the weekend or the odd day through the week due to work commitments. Rob mixed Prophetic Visions to see if we were happy with the direction of the mix before he started mixing the whole album. More than happy with what he had done, we agreed that we wanted the album to sound just like that. He's spending all this week mixing the album. We should get the first mix on Saturday to listen to for a week or so to make any final alterations before it is mastered. As soon as it's mastered we will put a few songs up on Myspace for your listening pleasure. Updated sunday 13 Jul 2008 Guitars finished, starting vocals. Last weekend saw the completion af all the guitar parts for the album. We're extremely happy with results. The songs are sounding even better than we thought they would. A couple of additional guitar parts have also been written during the recording process. It seems such a long time ago since we started recording the drums on March 29th but it will be worth it in the end. This week sees the start of recording the vocals, with Paul going first. Updated Saturday May 3rd 2008 Rich managed to put the drums down for the album in a single day, 11 hours to be precise. The recording went extremely smoothly and the tracks went down very quickly, probably due to the extensive practice we put in in the weeks before. No triggers were used at all as we want the album to sound as natural as possible. What's recorded is what was played, no cheating! We built a tunnel for the bass drum so we could get two different sounds. This way we can get a bigger drum sound when we mix the two together. Updated Monday February 25th 2008 Next Sunday sees the start of the recording of our second album 'Ashes of the Fallen Throne.' The album is to be recorded and engineered by Rob at Silent City Studios in Leeds. The new opus sees a definite improvement from our debut 'Setting the Scene' in terms of intensity and overall songwriting. We've spent the second half of last year fine tuning every song and left no stone unturned to make sure every song reaches it's full potential. The track listing will be as follows: Updated Sunday September 23rd 2007 Been a while since our last update. Since playing our last gigs in London and Reading in March we have been concentrating on the new material in the rehearsal room. The new stuff sounds great and we have been recording our own demos for the upcoming second album. We'd have finished these sooner but we all went away after eachother this summer so there were only a few times that we were all together as a band We've been asked to play the third Black Winter Day Festival at Bradford University on Saturday 15th December. Also playing is new Earache signing Evile, Holland's Detonation and the reunited Sabbat headlinging among others. the occasion an 11 band bill has been announced which includes The Belonging.
Tickets are £10 advance. We are due on stage at 8:15pm. Updated Wednesday february 7th 2007 Updated Wednesday October 18th 2006 Its been a while since our last
update. After the Bolton gig in July we decided to stop gigging for
the rest of the year and finish writing and demoing our new
material. So basically, we have spent the last three months in the
rehersal room fine tuning the new stuff. As we haven't been
practicing for gigs we have taken time on each new song to make it as killer as
possible. The new material is faster and a bit more complex than the
previous. A more latter day Marduk sound has been more evident as
well as our usual melodic riffing. New songs titles include
Prophectic Visions, Ashes of the Fallen Throne, Blood for the Gods and Eternal
Kiss. In the meantime we have been featured in the
Sept/Oct issue of UK exreme metal magazine Zero Tolerance. An
interview with Paul can be found on page 84 in the Rapid Fire
section. The interview can be viewed in the Interviews
section of our Media page. Updated Thursday june 7th

for the band. It was done by famed logo designer Christophe Szpajdel, who was
responsible for designing the logos for bands such as Emperor, Enthroned,
Desaster, Borknagar and Old Man's Child. We are more than pleased with result
and think it reflects our music perfectly. His work can be viewed on
www.myspace.com/christopheszpajdel. We also have the full album as streamed audio using
jeroen wijering's Flash player http://www.jeroenwijering.com/ Updated Sunday April 9th 2006 Greetings everyone. We haven't had an update for a

you may know, Colin left the band for a brief period last year but rejoined on
the understanding that we did no gigs in the forseeable future. However, Rich
Beaumont from Halifax progers Seer's Tear said he would drum live for us in the
mean time. Since Rich has joined Colin feels it is best for The Belonging if
Rich becomes a full time member of the band. We thank Colin for putting the band

band's popularity. We still remain close friends and wish Colin all the luck in
the future, especially during his upcoming studio recording while drumming for
